Tense Are You?

The Spa Hallway. Like A Movie Scene

Hey Boogas,

I told you guys yesterday that I was going to blog about my experience of going to get a massage for the first time. So I’m out here in California doing interviews and all Keisha keeps talking about is her wanting to get massages at this place because her body was hurting from the Hip Hop Cardio class we went to. So the day before yesterday, we decided to go. Her and her sister; Karen swear by this place so I decided to check it out and see for myself what all the hype was about.

You’re Greeted With Candy & Water

We arrived to Pho-Siam Thai Spa and immediately I felt relaxed. As soon as you walk in, everything is made of wood and just gives you that feel as if you’re in another place. They have candy and water there for you while you wait and you don’t wait long. We checked-in and soon after we were proceeding upstairs to begin. The hallway upstairs (pic above) just looks like a scene from a movie. You remember in the movie Rush Hour when they went and got massages and there were all those rooms? This is what this was like. It was beautiful and peaceful.

The Beds Are Flat & On The Ground (Couple’s Room)

I was expecting to see one of those modern massage beds but that so wasn’t the case. It was a mat on the floor and then these pieces of cloth hanging from the ceiling. Do you know that these ladies walk all over you??? OMG! I was so shocked! LOL. They hold on to the ties and walk all over your body. Thank goodness these ladies are small and petite or that could have went all wrong but I must truly admit that my massage was very good. At some points I felt like my head was going to pop of because I was tense but then it eased and I felt much better.

The Ties

After the massage, Karen, Keisha and I felt so pooped! Especially Keisha. She looked like she just ran a marathon. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who comes to California. =)

Karen & Keisha After The Massage. LOL

Me Looking Extra Relaxed

Everyone should invest in a great massage more often than none. Maybe the world; especially New York, would be a much more relaxed place to live in.

Muah for your forehead…
